Who thought of this shit? For 65 points this is amazing. It's a fucking Leopard 1A5 with very good optics. Netherlands + Germany is basically just doubling the size of an already endless 100+ point tank pool for Germany. It might not have any armor to speak of but it'll cut through hordes of anything cheaper than it so long as nothing sneazes at it. 2100 range, 50% accuracy, 13 AP, and 13 ROF with an autoloader.

If you're going to play Netherlands, a support deck is probably the best way to play them. They can bring as many of these IRBM launchers as American can M270s, period. They have an EOTS hawk, a Geapard 2 without the Stinger C, a 3850 range mortar jeep (lmao why?), and a IRBM launcher with 49000 range, 20 HE, and more accuracy than even the most precise mortars in the game. Sweet fucking zombie jesus that's a super dragon 95 fire support unit! Why the fuck doesn't America get shit like this? So arbitrary.ġ925 range anti infantry weapon's teams baby! Again, the 95 seems like a down grade because of the AT4. The infantry weapons probably come out even and marginally edge Korps Mariners out in brutal point blank city fighting but that's not enough to be worth it. I'm not sure if even that's good enough to compete with German special ops infantry, though. Their rifle and IARs might be hilariously strong because of how much fire they put out and how accurate they are and it's a 15 man squad with a carl gustav. American riflemen might have worse MGs but they have vastly better IFVs which makes them competitive with the best infantry factions. Nothing stands out other than they cost 10 points. A hybrid of other European armories and some domestic kit which isn't anything the game doesn't already have in a different form. Nothing special in the logistics section. Of course, that's never gonna happen because every player would have to be like mind merged or some shit to get the coordination down.I don't play the game regularly anymore so I didn't actually know it was in the armory yet. I'd imagine the team comp with the highest potential in 4v4s is x1 support, x1-2 armored, and x1-2 mech/moto, where each player almost entirely focuses on their specialty. Usually it's just easier to pick nonspec instead. Thing is, all that shit is hard, thankless, and requires a very different playstyle than all other decks.

You need to understand when and how to use smoke. You have to understand the purpose of every artillery piece available to you, and use them when appropriate. You need to be able to maintain and protect your ally's flanks and supply lines so they can put their front towards the enemy.

You need to be able to protect allied ground forces by suppressing your opponent's support options. You need to be able to keep track of what's going on for every player you're supporting, not just myopically stare at one lane (or worse, your spawn zone) the entire game. To really maximize the potential of the deck, you need to have excellent coordination across your entire team. Usually, though, what winds up happening is that the support player fails to contribute anything of value and weakens his ally's lines by spamming fancy rockets and artillery, wasting critical supply while his allies are overwhelmed by ground forces. Ideally, a support player would assume support functions for his entire team/sector of the map, maintaining AA and strategic artillery so his allies can focus exclusively on buying and managing direct assault forces and air. Yes, there are exceptions and special cases, but in general arty spam does not win games. It's not just that they're weak, it's that the average support player makes the entire team weaker, especially in anything smaller than a 4v4 (which is borderline).
